The Literacy & Learning Center is pleased to announce the addition of two new members to its Board of Directors: Cal Isaacs and Tracy Wade. They were selected after a rigorous selection process that involved reviewing their qualifications, interviewing them, and considering their potential contributions to TL&LC.
Cal Isaacs, a Human Resources veteran with experience in various industries, brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise to the TL&LC Board. Having served in leadership roles at Eckerd Drugs/Rite Aid Pharmacy, GameStop, Spring Mobile, and Performance Food Group, Cal deeply understands human resources management, including recruitment, employee relations, and organizational development. Since relocating to Highlands in 2022, Cal continues contributing to the community.
Tracy Wade, a recent full-time Highlands resident, brings a diverse professional background to the Board. With a degree from Vanderbilt University and a successful career in marketing, banking, and the insurance industry, Tracy has held leadership positions at companies like Maxum Specialty Insurance Group and Navigators. Her extensive business experience and commitment to community service, which is evident through her involvement in organizations like the Rotary Club of Highlands and REACH, will be invaluable assets to TL&LC.
Both Cal and Tracy are deeply committed to positively impacting the community. Their dedication will undoubtedly be instrumental in guiding TL&LC's continued success. Their expertise and commitment will be invaluable as TL&LC continues to provide essential learning programs to children and adults in Macon County.
