The Literacy & Learning Center seeks dedicated volunteers to support its vital literacy programs for youth and adults. We currently need individuals willing to share their time and talents in two key areas: individual tutoring and after-school group support.
Become a One-on-One Tutor:
Make a direct impact on a student's life by becoming an individual tutor. We need patient and encouraging volunteers to work one-on-one with both youth and adults, helping them build essential reading, writing, and comprehension skills. Whether you're a retired teacher, a college student, or simply someone who loves helping others, your support can make a world of difference. Tutoring sessions are flexible and can be scheduled to fit your availability.
Join the After-School Team:
Our after-school program provides a safe and enriching learning environment for students to grow. We're looking for enthusiastic volunteers to assist with group activities, homework help, and engaging educational projects. If you enjoy working with children and have a passion for learning, this is a fantastic opportunity to make a positive contribution to the community.
